But it depends on the motive of the one playing. I played sometimes for pass time, while waiting someone, or in market lanes or hospital. But in some, it results in addiction which is not good. It lowers the spiritual focus, and in the long run will result in long distance relationship with God. So no, it doesn't strengthen your faith to God and will result in opposite.
